Katherine Bernhardt 凱瑟琳·伯恩哈特， 生於1975年，以大型的繪畫最為人所知，主題總是很主觀自我。畫面上不斷重複的圖案，靈感源於荷蘭蠟印、摩洛哥和其他非洲紡織進口地毯樣式，開啟了她畫風轉變的契機，開始創作被稱為「版型繪畫」（Pattern Paintings）的一系列作品。這一系列畫作多以非傳統、更接近於時尚潮流的內容作為主題，明亮色彩的圖案與一組組具有當代風味時髦品，將日常生活中常見的各種水果、3C電子用品、服飾配件、運動器材、香菸或特色餐飲的單品等圖騰符號化，以多組的配置，重複地出現在畫面中。Bernhardt作品很彈性，她可以畫大嘴鳥因為覺得長長的鳥嘴形狀適合畫面；可以畫藍色小精靈因為準備比利時個展時，發現原來藍色小精靈來自那裡：畫頑皮豹和加菲貓因為那是兒子最愛看的卡通。畫鯊魚因為去了海邊度假，對比於伯恩哈特早期抓住人物特質的繪畫風格，新的系列是一全新的開始。媒材上偏愛螢光色的壓克力顏料以及噴漆的使用，畫布上被熱情洋溢的歡樂氣氛填滿，在更平面也更不注重細節的簡單繪畫中，更瘋狂、也更無厘頭式的畫風，對於鬱悶的現代人，可以說是療癒力滿滿！

她的大型作品，也被不少如英國收藏大鱷查理斯．薩奇（Charles Saatchi）與佛羅里達州邁阿密的盧貝爾家族（Rubell Family）等西方著名收藏大家所認同並購藏。
